What is Space Circus? The answer is lots of things

Space Circus is a fun packed theatrical show that is designed to enthuse and inspire young people about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning and careers. Space Circus will take you on a journey through space and time. Here's a taster of what you'll encounter along the way.

  • Be a pioneer of space tourism and visit the first ever lunar hotel. Ever heard a moon mix on iTunes?
  • Jump on board Starship Diversity and discover why a salad spinner is useful in the explanation of space flight!
  • Visit a science lab on Europa, a moon of Jupiter, and discover what's lurking beneath its icy surface!

How do I get to see the show and take part?

The show will be travelling round Yorkshire and Humberside schools from October 2007. Our funding means we can only visit a small number of schools initially. Is your school one of them? Download the list of schools to find out. If it is and you'll be in year 5, 6, 7 or 8 from September 2007 then there is a good chance you'll get to see the show.

If it isn't or you're in a different year then don't be too disappointed, we hope to secure additional funding to visit more schools and there is still a lot to stimulate your curiosity on this site:
